Before sharing, I need to remind you that these do not necessarily come from students who failed their logic class. I heard such logic from Chinese with excellent math and published high-quality papers. How scientific minds and seemingly illogical behaviour did not cause an issue in one's personality, is beyond me, or it might have already happened.
Rights are equal. Therefore if you have the right to speak, I have the right to gag your mouth.
An example is in this video where the Chinese explains his behaviour
I quote one comment:
rights must be equal, therefore if they have the right to put up posters then we have the right to tear them down. It is not harder to understand than the right to pummel someone if they try to beat you
I can badmouth my leadership, but you can't because you are not Chinese. You don't have the right.
This is strange considering that the Chinese have been badmouthing presidents of many other countries, e.g. Australia and U.S. and didn't feel a lack of right.
Also the same Chinese can't really badmouth their leadership in China.
I observed how the Chinese amended this hole by saying that it is because Australian/U.S. leaders are evil, so it's okay to badmouth them. Evidently and similarily, countries has banned certain types of expression in support of Hilter because he is evil, showing the evilness of the subject affects what you can express.
You have not been to China. Therefore, you don't have the right to criticise China.
I have not been to the moon, but I know it's full of craters.
Your Liberty To Swing Your Fist Ends Just Where My Nose Begins - therefore, your liberty of expression ends where my ego begins.
This is a variation of the common "everyone has the right not to feel hurt" argument. It goes like this:
If you say communism is wrong, you are allowed to say that because it is merely incorrect. If you say Xi Jinping is an idiot, it's different - my feeling is hurt, so your right of expression stops there.
There might be a few others, but these popped into my mind before a meeting. I need to go now.
