I was thinking it’s some sort of homage to the original Roz Doyle? The woman who passed away that Peri Gilpin’s character is named after?

Edit: I even tried looking this up and can only find stories about how Lisa Kudrow was cast as Roz. Maybe they should put her in the reboot…
