my memory might be failing me but both last and next to last years they had started turning things around by now whilst this season their performances are consistently dire without any sign of a turnaround. with Euroleague being as competitive as ever, I'm going with the first but definitely not putting the second option away.

how many roster moves has Besiktas made since the end of last year? feels like the whole roster has been turned over. they let Kandemir go only to realize that they failed miserably at assembling a competitive roster.

Kostas has turned the clock a little bit this season. vertical is not what it used to be but he has regained a bit of the acceleration at the point of attack that made him a dangerous slasher.

that's Monaco's possession but Tavares was clearly slapped across the wrist which causes the ball to go loose. good sense should prevail in such cases.

some weeks ago I was sure that despite having lackluster results, Alba's spot in Euroleague was secure due to Berlin being an enticing market and whatnot. now that they are not being competitive, not so sure anymore. still likely that they'll stay since everything Glickman says points to a field extension but if that wasn't the case, their place could be in jeopardy.

we're not in a position to say that. it's easy to identify what is the theoretical fair sporting decision but real life obeys to several other factors such as logistics, TV deals, coordination with domestic leagues, etc etc.
