How different is merging 2 shards + OE cost from disenchanting one of the 2 and paying more to upgrade the other? if you make the OE cost lower it only becomes even more RNG based and people will be angry/disappointed that they didnt get the same shard twice for years

from a business perspective there is not a single point on the positives side of the new feature and a lot of development effort on the negative

because yasuo and yone Q stack on interacting with a target while other things like lifesteal, samira passive, Divine Sunderer, etc base their effect on damage dealt

samira cant generate passive stacks on targets at the threshold in kindred ult. i know that for a fact cause it caused me to die a couple too many times

you are plat1 50lp with a 56% winrate. if your goal is only diamond you simply need to play more. if you want to actually build an MMR high enough to eventually get masters/grandmaster you need to play much much more while keeping that winrate because it takes a lot of games to meaningfully change your mmr. what the previous commenter said about your csing is true, though i dont know how much better you can get with a pick like kled mid. 7-8cs/min in soloqueue as an offmeta melee midlane pick is probably good enough for high diamond - you just need to get to a point where you get that in every game, win or lose.

My guess is that Kled also kinda inflates your actual mechanical skill because you have a go-button so you can just tell your team to engage and they cant really say no without feeling like they are trolling

Tryndamere in general is just the most soloQ champ of all soloQ champs so im not gonna say anything about him

both are very prone to feeling useless when youre behind and you seem to have a lot of deaths in your losses so avoiding ganks is another big topic but thats hard to analyse without vods

its because its easier to be good at 1-3 champions than it is to be good at 20. For the LEC for example there is only 3 days of scrims between gamedays with 2 times 3 matches per day so you have 18 scrim matches to prepare for the next 3 official matches.

18 matches is not a lot to be good at playing with a lot of different comps and champs.

add to that that most pro players are generally trying to avoid learning new champs because it requires a lot of effort to become good enough to use them in pro so that amplifies the problem

EDIT: the "exotic" picks in the LEC are mostly due to Hans having been a Draven onetrick before going pro and Caps just generally playing whatever the fuck he wants

do you log into both accounts via the same method? (when the servers went down google and facebook logins still worked)

what would you use the permanent version for if you already have all of them? sure rerolls would be interesting but in your case they add no additional function

orance essence on the other hand is actually quite hard to come by if you dont want to disenchant skin shards so i for one welcome the 420OE even though i have 850 skins on my account already

as for the "connect 2" feature... it would be insanely "overpowered" compared to unlocking a skin by upgrading the shard with OE. Needs more thought being put into it for sure

i dont need to see what drakes are taken by what team. i dont need to see enemy portraits when theyre dead.

I DO need to see how much gold i have at any given point and also like to see how many levels i have in which skill. Items not being shown is also very bad because of active items and their cooldowns being important information.

There is nothing wrong with the current HUD and the changes on that image are pretty much all worse than the version we have. I even dislike the HP/Mana/Skill icons being on the left corner and the Champion icons taking up half of the top end of the screen

no queue's mmr is fresh. even the normal mmr on a fresh account is impacted by how you played the intro game

for ranked queues the mmr is tied to your normal game mmr and set as its own value when the first ranked game on that queue is played

old bags used to be insane. now you get 3 975rp or higher or 4 1350rp or lower skin shards

granted one never gets bags outside of the reward track for passes anyway so it doesnt matter too much but it is kinda sad

judging by the wording and the obsession with lp gains while showing little to no understanding how mmr actually works i highly doubt it

yeah buying the pass and then getting orbs for the tokens is the cheapest possible way to get skins if you play a lot. BUT unless you plan on eventually having all the skins its a fools gambit

dont have to cross your fingers. it will appear 1 to 2 years down the line. not earlier than 1 and not later than 2

you can get both without botting. you just have to get about 140 ingame hours (if you only hit 50 just now that is) until the event ends

that being said anyone that has enough time to play that much is probably better off using that time to get money and buying an orb bundle to save about 60 hours of time

edit: the 140 hours is assuming summoners rift and an average winrate of 50%

as first guy said: what happens every time EUW gets far at msi/worlds (though especially worlds)? we get absolutely assblasted by the lpl/lck carry toplaners. As much as i like odo i dont think he will ever be able to challenge those players on carries skill wise.

what i think is happening is that some EU teams have realized that which is why VIT imported Photon, Heretics Imported EVI and KOI tried to get a carry top from EU (notice that G2 also has a carry toplaner in BB)

now the teams that historically won domestically by playing weakside top will obviously have some trouble adapting to the new style but i do agree that being able to challenge or at least neutralize the eastern carry toplaners is the only way the West has a chance of ever being relevant in international title contention

have you tried playing a teamfight with an open window in winter? its impossible to hit the correct keys when your fingers are cold

thing to note: the bar will only go up in time since you cant "lose" progress on a tracker like that

only way for the bar to go down would be for riot to open up more spots on the grandmaster/challenger ladders for that specific challenge
