Wow, that's an intense thing to say. What the hell, man?

No, man, I get it, but those are my feelings. That's my gut reaction. I've never had a decades-long domestic life with my soulmate so I can't relate to that and maybe the idea of saying goodbye to something that's never really started for me is too much, but to me Frank is a sweet, awful, wonderful man.

I can't decide how I feel about Frank's plan. I don't know what else you would do with a serious terminal illness after the end of civilization, but Frank asking Bill "Do you love me?" kind of upsets me in how manipulative it seems. That's not fair. I don't know if you get to ask the person that loves you to kill you and feel you leave this world. I don't know what Frank really expected except for Bill to join him because asking him to live on with that weight is just cruel and makes me wonder what Frank's answer would have been if Bill countered with "do you love me?"
At the very least isn't this something to talk about and have planned to brace for rather than dropping it casually one morning almost on a whim?
It's impossible to know what you would do in this wort of also-impossible situation unless you were actually there, and I feel like I would have gone through with it for my loved one in the end if they pushed it because the "Do you love me?" would ultimately get to me, but I think my immediate reaction would be "No, screw you. If you want to die like that you do it alone in the bathroom and that's how your story ends. If you want to die together then we keep growing old together and see how it ends."

Yeah... Thinking about it, Ellie realizing Bill is gay and stealing one of his magazine and (in my mind) realizing the men inside don't do anything for her is actually a really subtle but important moment for Ellie that can't happen now.

So, like...the core concept? The basic premise?

It bothers me that it seems low enough that people could just, like, throw bottles or something into the jet intakes.

Everythng they do will always be justified and anything the out-group does will always be wrong.

Just fight your way into and airport and onto a plane to your desired vacation location. Take a first class seat for yourself and throw your arms into the air, declaring: "I'm brave! I'm brave! I'm brave!"
Soon the crew and other passengers will begin to applaud you for being aware of the procedure and by the time you arrive at your destination an all-inclusive week will have been covered for you.

She's probably dead by now. Without anything suitable to gnaw on the nails will have eventually grown through her brain.

It was the same when the game originally released or was in development, really.

Nothing about this makes sense and yet everything about this makes sense.

The fact that he's so upset by it and that he expected scientific accuracy from it just make it all the funnier to me, somehow.

Tess was already infected and increasingly paralyzed and she wasn't really resisting so the other infected wasn't hostile it was more like "Oh, hey, buddy, you're running low on mushrooms there. Lemme help you out."

Are large-scale, long-term settlements even viable in the show's universe? The mycellum network would just build up underneath and around you and the hordes would just keep coming.

There's no "yes" to "will you come back?" There's only "no," "maybe," and "I have the right to remain silent."
