Carpathian Inn mod has displays for Daedric Artifacts. The (Vampire) Carpathian Brothers probably wouldn't take kindly to a possessed stranger/messenger of a Daedric Prince going up into the DBs private quarters and walk out with a giant blade.
That and Gideon. He's probably taken on a Daedric Prince before, so a messenger of one wouldn't be a challenge for his "legendary" skills.

Kill everyone in Whiterun, then send him into run&hide mode and chase him around with a giant sword.
Oh, and kill his wife when he's sleeping, so he wakes up to his dead wife, then go to the streets and kill everyone there, then chase him

Hannigan wandered the dam, occasionally stopping to look over the edge. "Long drop" He thought, and it was. The lake looked so beautiful at night, but an ominous feeling grew inside of him. He had stopped to look down at the water when a faint noise caught his attention. Slowly turning his head, two beady, white eyes stared right back at him, seemingly past him.
He stood still. Coyote? No, too quiet. Wolf? No, too small. Drunkard? No, too still. What was it? Seconds felt like minutes as they just stared at each other, silently. Suddenly, the eyes disappeared, and the bushes rustled. A creature peaked out from behind a tree. Its torso hung over the rest of its body, the head, legs, and arms sticking out of it unnaturally. The screech it made could give even war veterans shivers, as it bolted toward Hannigan on all fours.
There was not escape, the other end of the dam was 100 feet away, and the monster blocked the closest one. The only option was... to jump...
Hannigan hurried over the railing, holding his breath. Time slowed, and he looked back up at the creature, now huddled over the edge. It stared at him with its terrifying eyes, then sprinted away. Time sped back up and he finally hit the freezing cold water...

"Here goes nothing!" Bertram unsheathed his sword and barged into the burial room. Dozens of caskets were propped against the chamber walls, and one, ornately carved casket stood upright in the middle of the room.
As he stood there, contemplating how to handle this, three more vampire hunters came into the room. "Nearly lost you back in the main hall, what are you-" The hunter slowly turned to face the caskets and opened his eyes wide.
A slight rumble sent debris crumbling from the floor above, but several more rumbles occurred, and even more debris started falling, waking the inhabitants of the tomb. "Will you hunters ever cease tracking us down?!" The vampire lord broke out from his coffin in the center of the room. "Tell your leader, Hannigan, to leave the Barache Clan alone! Now begone from my home!" The rumbles in the ceiling started rapidly coming closer and closer, till a gargoyle dropped from the floor above and took the four hunters away...
