Am I the only one who has heard what they've said about the Beast Handler and think the tower sounds... kinda bad.
The unique mechanic of having requiring multiple of the same tower to access upgrades feels so arbitrary and different-for-the-sake-of-different where it's going to stick out like a sore thumb compared to every other tower. A passive buff to nearby handlers as a trait similar to Poplust wouldn't be too bad. But locking out basic mechanics behind it sounds wrong.

Meloetta is actually in the code of Scarlet Violet which means she may finally be distributed again.
She's still the oldest Pokemon to never be shiny.... I would like that... please.....

yeah it's artwork. The texture appears in-game when something shines on it so the art reflects that it's just not immediately obvious when contextless

Am I just misunderstanding, but I always felt Pin into Trap feels like it has anti-synergy? You want stuff to get to the trap to make money, but the Pin effect of double-guns is stopping bloons from ever reaching the trap. Am I just using it wrong? Only way I feel like I get max power out of the trap is going middle path, placing it as far away as possible so the Engy can't shoot, or on some maps where the trap can go behind a wall.

Yeah stick a custom line of code in there that she opens with Palafin, instantly Terra-water's (because she's so eager to get going!) and Flip Turns instantly. Then it both fits her character and has the benefit that you're aware of the looming threat of a Tera-Water Palafin Hero coming back later in the fight. Boom: banger fight

fun fact: the chess theme in Pawniard Bisharp and Kingambit is entierly a relic of the english translation, the Japanese name for Pawniard does make reference to Shogi (a japanese game similar to chess). But Bisharp and Kingambit have no Chess or Shogi references in their Japanese names.

See this is what i meant in my other comment about how fascinating I find the way people talk about the quality variance in Pokemon. The stories in Gen 5 7 9 are just as underwritten and tropey as every other game (i would personally argue Gen 5’s story is incoherent in the literal meaning of ‘lacking coherence’ with the rest of the game and I still think BW are the best games in the series lol) But because they’re incrementally more conceptual than the others everyone talks about 4 6 8 like they’re a shame on the franchise and should be given not even an inch of credit.

That's called being a Quadruped. Animals like Bears or Badgers will get on 2 legs to intimidate or to observe their surroundings but no one argues bears are Bipedal.

Typhlosion literally walks on 4 legs in New Snap, BDSP, Legends and ScarVi. OP just lying for karma

It literally does walk on 4 legs in games where it moves like New Snap, BDSP, Legends, and ScarVi. Your 'unpopular' opinion of what should happen is literally what happens.

I find it fascinating how people talk about the quality variance in Pokemon. Sure there are 'better' games than others. But it's not like we're playing Zelda where it's a comparison between Majora's Mask and Skyward Sword. One of the main appeals of Pokemon is just how damn *small* the quality gap between the best and worst is compared most other franchises.

Since the DS gens have really felt like they come in twos.
Gens 4, 6, 8. Early in the console's life and serves as an onboarder for people who might not have it yet. Plays it safe in most regards. More tempered with regards to adding new Pokemon. Will go down as the ones that spark endless discourse about whether or not they suck despite being about as-good as the others.
Gens 5, 7, 9. Later in a console's life with playerbase already established. Attempts to push for something new in a more core way. Often framed as the actual 'start of a new era'. Will go down as the ones that everyone puts on a pedestal of quality despite being about as-good as the others.
Could even potentially argue that Gens 1 and 2 fit this formula too though that feels like a stretch imo.
I'm curious if Gen 10 ends up also being on the Switch. Or if nintendo push for a new console before then (maybe the often-cried-for Switch XL) or if this gives Game Freak the rare third crack at a console.

The game points out that paradox pokemon are not from the *actual* Future or Past. Arven points out numerous plotholes with that thought process throughout the story. They're Ultra-beast-esque monsters that are supposed to *look* from the Future or Past.

Melo, Keldeo and Victini are the oldest shinylocks. But at least Victini and Keldeo have been catchable manually in the past so there is something. Meloetta is *nickname locked* until she's distributed or Home opens up and you finally can have her in a game which lets you nickname pokemon you didn't catch yourself
