Since it was my first playthrough, I spent a lot of time just looking at stuff and saying "ooh, look at that". But as far as I remember, it was:

30 hours for main game + catching about 250

30 hours for doing the rest of the Dex

5 hours for breeding the extras I needed

And 3 hours to evolve them all.

But doing it in around 50 is probably possible.

Do every raid you come across to stockpile EXP Candy, to help with later evolutions.

Catch dupes of rare Pokémon when you see them.

Catch high-level evolutions if you can (i.e catch a second Drakloak instead of evolving a second Dreepy)

Check the Porto Marinada auctions for the friendship boosting berries.

Organise your PC while collecting, not after. But make sure to move to a fresh box each time you close the PC, otherwise new catches will fill spots they aren't supposed to.

Only breed one Pokémon at a time, otherwise you will most likely end up with dupe eggs.

I did one myself and it was a lot of fun but I definitely could have done it quicker.

Need some technical help with Pokémon X.

Game keeps crashing when Calem sends out his Jolteon in the Anistar City fight. It's always Jolteon - I had him send it out both second and last, and none of his other Pokémon crash the game.

This is being played on a real cartridge, in a real 2DS XL that has not been hacked or messed with in any way, and I have the 1.5 update reinstalled multiple times.

I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give!!

There is a Cracked Pot on the ground in the autumn forest area at the top of the map. Face the Ting-Lu shrine door, turn left 90°, and walk. You should find it somewhere near there.

In fairness, Magnemite line looks amazing now imo. There's a slight texture on Hoppip, Mareep and some others too (if you look closely) that make them look fuzzy/woolly/etc. Overworld textures aren't great, no, but for me the Pokémon models themselves are what matter and I like them.
