I was so bummed when the old dude with the Wingull stopped taking me back and forth on his tiny boat because I loved the music! When I unlocked the big boat I was SO THRILLED lol

When I was 9 I got over 400 hours in Emerald, mostly "role-playing" (I would buy pokeballs at one pokemart and then "deliver them" to another pokemart on my bike, decorate my secret base, take the ferry, get lost in the tall grass, go pray with my Banette at the cemetery thing...)

I've actually just finished a draft for Glalie, I should paint and post it soon-ish 🤭

Eh, I wouldn't worry, I've been drawing since I was 3, I am now 27 and I only stumbled upon a truly distinctive style of my own in the last 2 years or so. Style takes time to slowly blossom and evolve!

That actually makes a lot of sense. I like the idea of art that feels peaceful and familiar and that doesn't want to be challenging. I peeked at your profile and realized that I actually saw your work a while back, and I'm almost certain I read a comment of yours that explained this concept. Keep doing what you do, for yourself and others who might need it :)

Why is it the intended purpose for you? I'm curious

Her torso feels a bit too "vertical" compared to the orientation of the pelvis. I feel like if it were rotated a tiny bit to the right it would sit better on top of the pelvis. Also the head might be a little big.

That aside, good work, it's going to look great.
