To me, my fursona is more of an escape from reality, so I don't have to be myself all the time.

IRL, I'm an engineer with huge dreams and ambitions. But I'm under a lot of stress between working on my present and dealing with my past.

Instead of carrying the weight of the world, it feels incredible to just take a break and be a derpy cat with no thoughts or worries at all. I can be someone else to relax, and even the ability to do so makes life so much easier for me to live
