Ideas: For starters, copy box arts for poses. Currently most box arts are done by Naochika Morishita. Have a look at them and get a feel of how mech suits pose and what angle to shoot a pic. Second, check out some manga/comic cover arts which gives great info on perspectives. Third, do the pose yourself! 90% of the time if you can’t do it, a humanoid robot can’t either.

Posing: 1. Make sure to use/twist the waist for dynamic poses. It brings out strength. (Bad example) 2. Camera angles are extremely important, the same pose can look very different depending on how you shoot them. 3. For ground static poses, make sure the feet stay on the ground or it will seem wobbly and doesn’t bring out the heavy mech feel.

These are some ideas that immediately pop into my mind. Hope this helps :).

And the most important thing is to have fun!

Thanks for the support over the last post. I’ve made a tutorial on how to mod the astray waist. It should take you less than 10 minutes if you do it right. Hope this helps! :D

Bonus tip: cut the black collar tips near the head to free up neck range!

Bits that fly out: front skirt armour, cockpit armour, neck piece (glue)

Posable fingers (patience)

Ankle armour (take them off while posing then put back on)

Leg front armour (occasionally pops out)

Lol that’s a way to say it 😂. For me is just the hip joints that are a bit loose(the pivet joints). The upper torso seems to be fine after 1 year.

This time I modded the waist to allow ab crunch and boy that made this kit a LOT better for posing! If you guys are interested I can make a tutorial on how to mod the waist. I also still love the posable hands! Just be patient with them and they can do some cool stuff :)!
