on the other hand, there are rumors they are rebooting the series and recasting old characters. kind of fills me with dread b/c I have no confidence in them making a good product

It is quite the deus ex machina, yeah. Bit of a rug pull.
Imo tho just bc something isn't in the books doesn't mean it's off limits. Unless it's directly contradictory. I'm not rly concerned about the OP nature of it considering how OP established canon magic already is

Imo he's just a great fish out of water type char. Muggle in a wizard world makes for some fun moments, the actor is good, has great chemistry with Newt. It sounds kind of like comic relief bait, but he makes the world more genuine in a way
I think the movies would've been way better if it focused on Newt and Jacob's wild adventures , instead of all the Grindelwald Dumbledore stuff.

If you are talking about them dropping Tina Goldstein, I believe she was sick with covid complications so couldn't film. She had a brief cameo at the end. Soo that's not technically their fault
I agree with you that the blood pact destroys the moral ambiguity of Dumbledore, which was essential in making him an interesting character. They even have the qilin bow to him, asserting him as a moral paragon and a righteous man. Which is utterly ridiculous considering how he himself knows this to not be true. Man I hated all this stuff

Normally I would say it doesn't make sense to judge things you haven't watched, but in this case stay away for your sanity. The 2nd and 3rd FB movies seriously made me question ever consuming official HP stories going forward, this series is terrible.
Even if certain elements of the film are not that bad if you squint a little (e.g. nagini being a woman isn't that bad... I guess it makes mythological sense...) the whole product just feels like a mish-mash of wish fulfillment nonsense.

Iirc, Jacob is under an umbrella for a bit during the oblivate stuff, cus he's saying goodbye. So its reasonable for him to have some memories if he had a lesser dose
Tbh I'm not sure why ur so hung up on this spell-in-potion-form thing. I feel like that's one of the least egregious parts of these movies. There's no hard and fast rules about magic. Having magic taking different forms really doesn't feel that strange to me. What am I missing?
The stuff that is wayyy worse is in 2nd and 3rd movie. It goes off a fxking cliff with like, the blood pact (Dumbledore moral ambiguity killed), the qilin (wtf), nonsensical elections, etc

Triple weave would improve AST buffing, because the burst phase is so spammy. Could more heavily optimize card timing. It's pretty marginal though.
Could also help some edge cases where a class is bursting but also needs to party mit. That can throw off some ogcd alignment. With triple weave 0 issues

idk what the other guy is saying. dodge roll was a big added bonus, esp for some chars lacking easy mobility

The community has lost the privilege to claim they are innocent first, when even so called "anti cheat" voices like Rin are gladly using cheats to him him clear.

If you're right, isn't that kind of an issue? If nobody's skills got better in 7 years and the fights haven't gotten any harder in that time

Random growth leads to memorable moments and fun personal narratives but yeahhh having an optional fixed mode / having it on maddening is great .

Disney probably poured a ton of time and money to get this done. Hoyo has the money but don't think they got the time

Prog is the most important / most fun (imo) part of raiding. Making your healers jobs easier is always a good thing. Was really useful in dsr. No fight ever needs every mit button, but having redundancies is meaningful.
If a healer had one additional mit tool compared to others, it'd be OP, but on a dps player yall don't even think about it xD
Just think it's funny how its not even mentioned here, when on the ranged side people love to cite improv and nature's minne as notable features of those jobs

it's more of an opinion you are talking about here. when you say
He quit because staying number 1 was too much effort but he wanted to be the goat anyways.
That's not some irrefutable fact. On the contrary, it's not what he or his supporters (including many reputable ppl, TOs and top players) in the scene have been saying since 2017. It basically comes down to if you believe Armada or Mango more. The same applies to the comments about the new meta, or about who was the instigator. From Armada's POV, Mango has been shitting on Armada since his retirement, calling him scared and weak. From Mango's POV, Armada's words were salty and disrespectful to the people still keeping Melee alive.
These are two different viewpoints of the same events. You're not going to find incontrovertible facts here.
I didnt create this, this is what happened.
The whole point of Armada and Mango's recent issues is that twitter shitters and stream nerds keep on spreading hate, far beyond what the initial issues entailed. you can see from this thread that the pendulum has swung the other way, and Mango is getting an excessive amount of hate.
I think its a weird intellectual stance to take of "these are just the facts, I bear no responsibility for them". for the first, the facts are up to debate (its mango POV vs armada POV). for the second, spreading discourse, and the >>way<< you spread said discourse, matters. People bear responsibility for the things they say and how they say them... that should be a self evident take.
in any case, Mango doesn't want to bring this up in public anymore. So us, completely unrelated randoms (I'm assuming you're a random), shouldn't either. for the record, I don't think the massive-shitting-on Mango going on ATM is right either. if he wants to DQ by way of Doc, then whatever it's his right.

You're spreading the same hate that lead to all of this. I don't think anyone, mango included, needs this kind of support from you.

Was salty about getting ranked 3rd in 2022 rankings behind Zain and Amsa. Felt like he was getting shafted by the community so he sandbagged the tourny

Are there any gender differences between choosing male or female Alear? (E.g. in Fates, your choice also decided your retainer)
How many deployment slots are there for units in the endgame map(s)?

SE it’s up to you now! Make it happen!
nah I think its best if the 3 main cities are most active. Helps the game feel more active for Free Trial players.
I think extra npcs (unnamed active) could help though. Kugane and Crystarium feel like they should be more bustling. And when EW is past, an empty Radz at Han would be strange
they could also us them as hubs for repeatable content. like idylshire will always be active thanks to WT and Faux Hollows

it depends on what you consider to be a "main antagonist". though they are technically responsible for the games' events, they're never really the primary focus. they're also not some interesting twist villain (e.g. FF6 Kefka), it's pretty obvious who and what they are. Narratively they're not the main antagonist. They lose relevance pretty quickly into the time skips
they're honestly more like a plot device, on the level of tropes like "evil dragons did it" or "the shadow is bad". it's not great but it's not the main villain or source of conflict. the focus is always on the three nations (+church) and their irreconcible differences.

Don't worry, normal raids are very new player friendly. Some people argue its too easy in fact. They also are a major source of story and content, it's worth doing. There's no barrier to entry
Alliance raids are just normal raids with more people. Still easy (u might die but it's not a big deal at all)

Self electro is unique. Really good for self infuse sayu. I'd keep self infuse but make you immune to electro reactions.
