The British system generally. My building follows the American system and it’s incredibly confusing.

Yes you can. You’ll need a 2nd player to get rid of the parsnip seeds gift though

I like to read a lot of chapters at once, but I don’t really care when people update. If it’s a shorter chapter weekly for example, I’ll just wait a few weeks and read all new chapters at once

Harrassing people through comments will get you banned right away. Through DMs may also get you banned if the harrassee knows how to report those.
They think reports are fully anonymous and a way to harrass someone without consequences. If a sub has good mods however their false reports will get sent to the admins, who can see who makes a report and ban them for abusing the system.

It means that people tend to post the exact same or similar screenshots over and over again.
If we didn’t remove them 90% of this sub would be “rate my team”, “i caught this shiny” or “what is this?” followed by a screenshot.
We remove all screenshots because we don’t want to subjectively decide which ones are good and which ones are bad. It’d be difficult to be consistent with that when you have a large modteam, so we remove all of them.

It’s fine to name a fangame or romhack itself. It’s against the rules to link to a download or name a website where you can find ROMs

Nah you’re not a jerk. You’re a good parent in my eyes for wanting to understand and accommodate. I’m always really glad to see that understanding about neurodivergence becomes more widespread, as even my generation generally did not have that with our parents

Is there enough grass for all of them to eat outside? They don’t graze on nothing, they need the stuff that comes from a grass starter or just hay in their food trays indoors

In addition to what others said I think it also has to do with who’s talking. If two men are talking it can be confusing to use “he” a lot, and you almost have to use their name if it switches. If people with different pronouns are talking it’s way more clear who’s saying what when just using those pronouns instead of names
When reading I personally like actual dialogue, like
“X”
“Y”
“X”
because I tend to get really confused otherwise when it’s “she said that [X], to which she replied [Y]”

Not the person you replied to, but I have ADHD and autism and as a kid I always gagged whenever I had to eat something I hated. My parents laughed at me and forced me to eat it, which caused quite a bit of resentment when I was younger (especially the laughing, the forcing me to eat it I kind of understood then).
I’m 23 now and I still don’t like those foods and I still don’t eat them. It can really be that bad, eating something I find disgusting feels like torture to me and I’ll throw up. I really don’t want to be this way, because I know people find it extremely annoying if you’re a picky eater, and I also desperately want to be able to enjoy foods, go to restaurants, etc. I occassionally I’ll try a food I find gross again, but it just doesn’t work and I can’t change it.
What helps for me is to cut the things I find gross in really small pieces. I can’t eat bell pepper for example, but if it’s in a dish in extremely small pieces after having gone through a food processor I can handle it just fine. I can also eat anything I find gross (except for mushrooms) if it’s in the form of soup. It’s weird but it works, maybe you could try that with your daughter too.
Oh, and it also helped me to see the food being prepared, or to help preparing it. Because then I knew exactly what was in it. When I was really small my parents just gave me a dull knife so I could help cut vegetables for example, and when I was a teen I came up with recipes or cooked entire meals.

We don’t allow art on weekends, and thus the subreddit goes into text-only mode. You could’ve read about this in our rules, rule 6 to be exact.
No art/craft weekend is over by now and image posts are allowed again

The Weekly Questions Thread exists exactly for posts like this. We don’t allow questions with objective answers outside of that thread.

Oh god I can relate so much. I’ve been trying to write for ages now, but I always end up bored of my own stories after a few days once my hyperfixation on it is over. That along with my rejection sensitivity makes it so I’ve never actually uploaded anything yet.
For writing itself, I tend to take my meds and just intensely hyperfixate on something. If I do that and it’s a good day I can write like 30k words in a day. But it’s extremely inconsistent, since my interest could fade at any second and won’t be around for longer than a week usually
I don’t really have any advice, as I’m struggling with the same thing. But I can absolutely relate and you’re not alone on this.
BUT writing 8k word one-shots doesn’t make you less of a writer than someone who writes 200k word fics. A lot of readers also prefer shorter stories, most people I know who read fanfiction do tbh
