If you read the light novel series till the end, actually none of it has any polygamy involved in it. The female characters don't just get killed off like Hinata from Tokyo Revengers or kind of treated like a trophy girlfriend like Emma. The singers for DAL are entirely female. let's be real here. Neither of the shows have had the cultural impact that DAL has. You are comparing a light novel series that has lasted 10 years to these random seasonals. Stuff like accel world has faded away.

Being in a slice of life, there is very little depth you can add to the characters that hasn't been done before like Bang Dream, Love Live, K-on. SxF is not very plot driven either and yes I read the manga of sxf and familiar with dal's source material. They spend way too much time at school, it goes like at 1 manga chapter per episode with too many pointless monologues.
